Become a host

Our hosts are interested in sharing their lifestyle in a positive and mutually rewarding way. Our students want to experience life as part of a Canadian family-to learn English in a caring environment, to have a home away from home. Our hosts are excited to welcome someone new into their lives. They want to learn about another culture-and to see their own culture in a new light-through a international visitor's eyes.

Having an international student in your home takes time, patience, and a willingness to share.  If you are willing to host a student this is your next step:

• A written host application (which can be completed online)
• A personal interview in your home
• Personal references
• A criminal reference check (required upon registration)
